Supervisory Research Biologist
The position of Supervisory Research Biologist falls under the 0401 occupational series. To qualify for this position at grade GS-15, you must meet either of the Basic Requirements AND Minimum Qualifications as follows:
Basic Requirements A. Have a four year degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Have a combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry or related disciplines appropriate to the position. NOTE:

Specialized Experience. Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the next lower grade of GS-14 or equivalent band level of responsibility in the Federal service managing/providing leadership to a staff in the areas of administrative and technical guidance; managing and/or leading scientific research programs related to behavioral, pharmacological, histochemical and/or toxicological studies.
